11000Would you pay $11 000 for a coffee machine? Well, Jeremy Kuempel and Matt Walliser think you would. They are the developers of a new coffee machine that has become infamous simply because it is so expensive, coming in at a stunning, you guessed it, $11 000.

The engineers who developed Blossom One, made the unit with aesthetics in mind. It features glass and stainless steel, in conjunction with some impressive woods from mahogany to teak. The machine even has a 1.3 megapixel camera, though the makers claim it was installed to work in conjunction with their app. Apparently, downloading the app gives you access to custom recipes which can be stored in the cloud, and will help you make the best cup of coffee possible.

The company will be starting to sell in the second quarter of 2013, but the question remains, will anyone buy it?
